DETAILS

Regarding medicine, Zeeshan Hoodbhoy has a wide range of professional interests but intends to focus on critical care, sleep studies, and pulmonology specifically. He gives presentations on the dangers of insomnia and obstructive sleeping, and smoking, among other timely topics, and has always had a strong desire to help other people. Since Zeeshan is now living in Las Vegas, obtaining his license to practice medicine is more prevalent for Zeeshan than ever. Nevada in particular continues to face an opioid crisis, since half a million people have died from fatal overdoses in the past seventeen years alone, and thousands more are struggling with addiction. Having this knowledge in mind only motivates him further to finish his residency programs and begin his medical career so that he may treat patients as soon as possible, starting in his own backyard.

In efforts to reach and assist as many people even beyond a traditional office setting, Zeeshan Hoodbhoy hopes to blog frequently to give non-patient specific medical advice and to provide crucial medical information that is accessible anywhere and to anyone. One of his goals is to have patients leave his office with all of their questions answered, instead of remaining scared and confused and alone. Health and medicine, in Zeeshan Hoodbhoy’s opinion, have no discrimination when it comes to patients; everyone faces their own problems, everyone is deserving of medical aid, and no problem is too small. He is accustomed to answering questions and does so eagerly, taking each matter seriously, to help others find solutions and maintain a more comfortable, pain-free lifestyle. This attitude and respect towards his patients make him an approachable and understanding confidant.

As all matters of health hold interest to Zeeshan, not just medicine exclusively, he also freelances as a celebrity nutritional consultant. He does this in addition to working towards his medical license.
